Butcherblock Countertop

An enormous end-grain maple butcherblock counter for a client’s hexagonal kitchen island–over eight feet across the furthest points.  Nothing too technical, just time-consuming, repetitive work held together with about a gallon of Titebond III glue.  The piece is topped with Clapham’s Salad Bowl Finish, a food-safe mix of beeswax and mineral oil and one of my favorite finishes.
